Mud pump control system VFD model

The mud pump control system performs the following functions:

• automatic start (including under load) and stop of equipment (including lubrication and rod sparging systems) of MH according to the appropriate algorithms;
• automatic shutdown according to the appropriate algorithms of the MN equipment in case of emergency, identification of the root cause of the emergency and issuance of a corresponding message on the operator’s panel;
• issuance of control actions to the frequency converter of the mud pump electric drive;
• automatic maintenance of the set pressure in the discharge line by changing speed of the main engine;
• turning on/off heating and lighting of the module;
• archiving of system operation parameters (including lubrication and rod sparging systems) with the ability to display as a function of time;
• bypass, emergency control circuit of the mud pump, “emergency mode” from a special key;
• analytical calculation of double strokes number per minute;
• self-diagnostics of ACS serviceability;
• accounting for the operating time of the main equipment and consumed electricity.
